Advocacy: The Efficiency of Driving

A very efficient way of traveling from one destination to another takes place through driving. When you drive, you can usually be assured that you will arrive from one destination to another in the quickest and simplest way possible. Driving is a quick form of transportation because you can travel at high speeds that were once impossible on the roads. Why, just a century ago we were traveling by horse and buggy, and now we are capable of going at high mileages just by jumping into a car. Driving is also a simple form of transportation because all you have to do is sit in a car, start an engine, and then drive off. With its quickness and simplicity, driving proves itself to be an efficient form of transportation that is very reliable. Whether you or traveling alone or taking your spouse, kids, and dog on a family trip with you, you can be assured that, by driving, you will make it to your destination efficiently.

Narrative: Picking Flowers

As I hiked up a mountain in Switzerland I decided to gradually leave the path and wonder into a field of flowers hidden by multiple trees. The beauty of the scene took my breath away. There were multitudes of yellow, purple, and blue flowers all mixed into the green grass. I could not help but pick some. Time went by and before I was aware, I had accumulated a giant bouquet of beautiful flowers that smelled wonderful. By this time though, the sun was starting to set so I decided to quickly descend the mountain. Once reaching the bottom I ran back to my hotel in order to ask for a vase. I went up to a beautiful young housekeeper and was in mortal shock when she told me that picking flowers off of the mountains was illegal and the Swiss Police could arrest me if I was caught. After that, I quickly ran up to my room and kept my beautiful flowers hidden until the end of my trip.

Getting Your Car Scratched

One of the worst feelings in the world is seeing the car you love damaged. It doesn't have to be intense either...a simple scratch can drive the owner insane. In fact, I think a simple scratch is almost worse than actually having your car wrecked. At least in a wreck if its the others persons fault they have to fix it. A scratch though....anyone can get away with it.
Now, you might wonder why I'm ranting about this. The main reason is I LOVE my car. It's a red Mazda 6 and over the year and a half that I've owned it it has suffered multiple scratches. What set me off this time though is that someone scratched it and instead of just leaving the scratch alone they actually tried covering it up with red fingernail polish! Please, if your going to scratch someones car at least don't worsen the pain by painting over it! There is always a chance you can fix the scratch though.
